Time Trap - Project Ideas and Time Line

For my Jingle project I’m doing a short film called Time Trap, it follows a character on an adventure after crashing onto a post apocalyptic earth and has to search for parts to repair his spaceship. For this project I am wanting to push the concept to make music and sound work together instead of a sound being seperate from the score it’s integrated into it, this is obviously for only some sounds, I’m not turning the original material into a science fiction musical but for example I will use the spaceship engine sound a bit like a riser for an EDM song. Now because of my concept of mixing sound and music I am breaking the film down and working on each section individually, basically I start with the opening and work through the film chronologically adding both music and sound as I go. This allows me to integrate the sound and music easily and also creates a good workflow. I am also using several DAWs in my process starting with Logic Pro X to sketch out all my ideas music and sound wise and then, any synth or electronic music processing I wish to do I will do in Ableton Live by coping the midi information across from Logic to Ableton and my final mix will be done in Protools, I’m not sure if I will do it on the large Audient or in the box but I’m starting to move towards the box because minimises the amount of stress if something is missing or needs to be redone. Right now I am about 1/3 through the film and progressing well.
