Looking at my remix I think I did an ok job, given the time I gave myself and effort I put in. I am happy I emulated the Corey Henry solo in the way that the sound changed throughout the solo. I didn't have the time to add the sequencer or arp parts I wanted as I was being quite picky with what I wanted to do, I think that's a lesson in itself, especially seeing as I didn't give myself the appropriate time to complete this project to the best of my ability I don't think it was the best idea for me to be picky with composition and sound. I also got caught up in trying to perfect my skill at remixing on the go as all the of automated sounds were done manually by me using the novation keyboard as a controller, I had reverb and delay for my vocals and guitar parts being controlled by pots 1 to 4 and then pots 5 and 6 were drum filters and 7 was the bass cut-off control. In retrospect I think it would have been better to do them one at a time instead of grouped together. but hey I feel like this entire trimester has just been learning curves which is good :)
